Özkan Steel produces high quality welded structural shapes, according to strict chemistries and dimensional requirements in
many grades.

Özkan Welded Wide Flange shapes cover the most common sizes of rolled wide flange shapes and are even greater in depth.
In addition, they go beyond the rolled wide flange series in weight and in effective use of material.

Beam and column shapes are supplied as plain mill shapes only, similar to a rolled wide flange mill section. These shapes
have been accepted by designer and fabricators worldwide and have been used in a wide variety of structural applications
from high-rise office towers to power generating stations and highway bridges. They have repeatedly provided the most
cost-effective solution to designers.

Special welding requirements, such as full penetration welds for dynamically loaded members, can be accommodated up to a
maximum web thickness of 16 mm. Supplementary testing, such as X-Ray, Ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant,
are available for critical end uses, subject to negotiation and acceptance.
